Excursions in the District of Lima
Lomas
de Lachay / Castillo de Chancay. Full Day. (join)
Pick-up at your hotel at about 7.00
a.m. We first visit Lomas de Lachay, visit the site museum, make
ecological walks, see humidity collectors, Taros woods (typical
trees of the site) and animals such as partridge, pigeons, turtledoves,
sand owls, small goats, American kestrel, eaglets, Andean parakeet,
humming birds, etc. We see a Puquial (water eye) and a great variety
of plants and trees.
In Chancay we visit its castle, where after a good
lunch we can see the museum of historical memories, the archeological
museum, the vaults and towers. The return is at about 5.30 p.m.
Paracas. Full Day. (join)
Pick-up at your hotel about 6:00
a.m. to visit Paracas city. We will arrive at 9:30 a.m., and take
a city tour in this city, then you will go to CHACO port and then
you will board a motor boat and go to BALLESTAS ISLAND and BLANCA
ISLAND. You can see the Candelabro and other beaches. In your
trip you can see penguins sea Lions flocks and sea birds. You
will visit also the National Reserve of Paracas and the "Catedral"
a rock formation by wind and sea erosion.
Islas
Palomino (Callao). Full Day. (join)
The tour includes visit important
Islands like Camotal Island, Fronton Island, San Lorenzo Island,
Cavinzas Island and Palomino Island. This Island are ubicate front
of Lima City, and we will board a luxury yatch for aproximate
3 hours.
In this Island you will see very near caves & groves very
impresionant with sea lions folcks and many sea birds.
Also you will apreciate remains of a very old prision in the Fronton
Island.

Lunahuaná Full Day. (join)
Pick-up at your hotel at about 7.30
a.m. On the way we visit the Plaza de Armas and main streets,
ruins of Huarco culture and the old harbor of Puerto de Cerro
Azul. We follow the Inca trail, visit the Incawasi ruins and make
a city tour through Lunahuana with its Plaza de Armas, church
of the 17th century, Calle Grau, Malecón Araoz and typical shopping.
In a wine cellar we watch the wine and pisco production and taste
them. We will visit the Catapalla bridge and walk along the Cañete
river. Return to Lima.
