A tour around the centre of the city to get to know the most significant landmarks, some of which are from the rubber boom (subject to arrival time)
Transfer to the lodge by boat down the Amazon. Floating houses. Visit the ‘paiche’ farm – the largest fresh water fish; during the transfer we will note various different communities on the banks of the Amazon. Arriving to the lodge we will be welcomed with a local drink and will find our rooms. Two nights in the Amazon Lodge with full board. Take the ‘medicinal plant.’ walk and get to know ‘uña de gato’, ‘sangre de grado’ and ‘clavo huasca’ amongst others. Enjoy spectacular views of the Amazon from a well placed viewpoint and finish the day with a night walk to see tarantulas, insects and alligators. Night at Lodge.

See the local birds in their natural habitat. Take a walk deep into the jungle to find the giant trees – including the voluptuous and impressive Ceiba- Lupuna. Take in the local flora and fauna. Visit to a small zoo down the river to see the anacondas, monkeys among others. Recreative fishing. Take a night trip in a canoe around the lodge and enjoy the sounds of the forest at night.
